The true story of Muhammad Zahid Chaudhry — a U.S. Army veteran and 100% service-connected disabled wheelchair user — who upheld the Constitution by refusing pressure to participate in unlawful surveillance, and was punished for it for 25 years.

In August 2025, he was seized by ICE at a citizenship appointment and detained for four months while his family fought through federal court — ultimately winning against the Department of Justice to bring him home. Part legal thriller, part intimate love story, Service & Sacrifice asks what citizenship really means when the government treats it as conditional.
